You have asked questions and he has ansewered them. Don't like his answers? Not satisfied with the depth he went into? Ask more specific questions and show us the "research" you have done and we can comment. Like he said, the VG generally makes less hp because: 1) Lack of space for larger turbos. Most people, myself included, dont feel like chopping the fencers of my car for bigger turbos. 2) Expense. These cars are expensive mo-fuggers. 3) Difficulty. Try to pull a Z motor and you'll know what I mean. Big PITA, especially compared to the 2JZ. They slide out quite nicely. 4) I think most people with a Z either aren't willing or fortunate enough to throw gobbs of money into mods. Ask how much it costs to get an RB26 up to 1000+rwhp( Locked into rwd) and tell me that it is easy. Veilside has around 180K wrapped up in their R32 drag car. 5) In case you were wondering, BPU Supras make more ponies than stage 3 z's for many reasons. 550 cc injectors stock and years of overengineering being the most obvious. The Supra came out 3 years after the Z for a reason ;).Lastly, 1000 rwhp in any 6 cylinder car is quite amazing. They aren't as common as you may think in Japan, but they way outnumber their American counterparts.
